A gy\u0171jtem\u00e9nyben helyet kapott darabok legt\u00f6bbje az 1880-as \u00e9vek els\u0151 harmad\u00e1ban keletkezett. Az \u00e9vsz\u00e1zadn\u00e1l is hosszabb Csipker\u00f3zsika-\u00e1lmukb\u00f3l \u00e9breszett k\u00f6ltem\u00e9nyek (melyek valamennyi jelent\u0151s antol\u00f3gia-szerkeszt\u0151 figyelm\u00e9t elker\u00fclt\u00e9k) felt\u00e9tlen\u00fcl \u00e9rdemesek az ut\u00f3kor megbecs\u00fcl\u00e9s\u00e9re. K\u00f6sz\u00f6net a miskolci Gintner Csilla k\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9sznek, Beleznai Korn\u00e9l nyomd\u00e1sznak \u00e9s Apr\u00f3 Ferencnek, aki az el\u00f6lj\u00e1r\u00f3 gondolatait \u201eelk\u00f6vette\u201d, s ahogy meg\u00e1llap\u00edtja: a k\u00f6tetben szerepl\u0151 ballad\u00e1k meggy\u0151z\u0151n bizony\u00edtj\u00e1k, hogy az 1880-as \u00e9vek P\u00f3s\u00e1ja az Arany ut\u00e1ni balladak\u00f6lt\u00e9s jelent\u0151s alakja.
